My laptop has a sleek new home thanks to the folks over at Mujjo, a mobile accessories design company based in the Netherlands. When I was first approached by Mujjo co-founder Tom Canters about reviewing one of their products, I was a little hesitant—as I really don’t feature many product reviews as part of my blog. That said, after checking out their site I couldn’t resist the desire to get my hands on one of their beautiful, handcrafted pieces. They decided to send me a Macbook Pro 13″ sleeve, a simple yet stylish laptop case constructed from white leather and grey wool felt.
Up until now, my laptop has lived in a hot pink neoprene sleeve by Incase, which definitely provided the protection I want, but lacked the clean lines and sophisticated style that the Mujjo sleeve delivers. Crafted by hand from high-quality leather and felted wool (which is treated to prevent peeling and make it water repellent—a nice touch, indeed), the Mujjo case is both durable and attractive. Snaps and rivets (that are lined on the inside) keep your laptop secure, while an additional front storage compartment provides the perfect place to store a notepad, iPad or magazine—although, the case is pretty snug so I don’t imagine I’ll be trying to squeeze in much more than that.
Armed with my laptop, a magazine and my new Mujjo case, I decided to head to Insight Coffee Roasters for a mini photo shoot and some much-needed caffeine. Below are some of the pics I snapped of my new case. Thanks so much to the folks at Mujjo for hooking me up. I’m a big fan of your work!
