I don’t know about you, but when I pick a hairstylist one of the first things I look at is their hair. I mean, if I’m going to trust this person with my curly mop, they better have a super covetable set of locks. I also look to their sense of style in general. Is it something I can relate to? Will they understand the look I’m going for? That said, while Ali Clifford isn’t my current stylist, I would certainly trust her with my tresses.
A natural beauty with fiery red hair and a ’70s boho style, Ali has dreamed about being a stylist since she was a small child. After attending courses at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in San Francisco, Ali went on to work at Canvas Salon and eventually joined the ranks as a stylist at Deeda Salon. In addition to styling hair, the 23-year-old beauty also knows a thing or two about makeup. In fact, she’s been applying makeup on ladies in Sacramento for more than four years.
Despite her mad makeup skills, Ali tends to gravitate toward a more natural look for herself—keeping her eye makeup neutral and opting to play up her lips more. In fact, Ali embraces a more laid-back approach to both her makeup and style. As soon as she told me she wanted to raid Drew Barrymore’s closet, I could see the similarities between the two ladies…both are natural beauties that exude a happy, carefree spirit all the while looking comfortable yet stylish. Check out Ali’s style, and see for yourself…
